The Role

We are looking for a Social Creative Director, Copy who can write effectively for social, whether that’s Insta stories, Facebook captions or YouTube shorts. You’ll be able to cut through and engage with the target audience through different social channels, and adapt your writing for the medium, whether it’s a caption, tagline, comment, product description or video script

You’ll be able to take a brief and generate ideas, with the view of driving engagement, reach and views at the front of your mind. You’ll be able to take feedback and data analysis to inform your writing, and constantly be interested in developing your copy to stay on top of trends in the social space.

We’re looking for:

-Excellent writing skills, to start!

-Ability to interpret a brief and develop creative concepts

-Always up to date on social trends and patterns.

-Highly engaged in new and upcoming platforms.

-Ability to take feedback from clients and stakeholders and amend or redevelop copy

-Strong communication skills – written and verbal

-Quick to immerse and familiarize yourself with a brand, their aims and their target audience

-Proofreading skills to check spelling and grammar

-A collaborative team player

-Proactivity and ability to work autonomously

-An interest in the developing trends and innovations for advertising and creative copy

The pay range for this role is $125,000-$135,000 . Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Salary is subject to change based on factors such as geographic location and cost of living in location of hire.
