Responsibilities:
Design visually stunning, social, digital-first and print communications for talkSPORT and The Sun, leveraging existing brand assets and developing new ones as needed. A strong understanding of the sporting landscape is beneficial.
Collaborate closely with the wider team to ensure consistent, high-quality creative across all platforms.
Champion "idea-led" creative solutions that reflect modern marketing trends and best practices within the sports industry.
Partner with creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that exceed expectations.
Implement motion graphics and animations to enhance online advertisements and boost engagement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies including AI, particularly within the digital sports media landscape.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience designing impactful visual communications optimised for digital channels, including social media platforms and online newspapers. Experience with sports-related content is highly desirable.
Proven experience designing HTML emails and HTML5 banners.
Expertise in Figma is essential. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other relevant design tools is also required.
Strong skills in motion design, animation, and video editing are essential for creating engaging visual experiences.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring pixel-perfect designs and flawless execution.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong organisational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills to present ideas, discuss design concepts, and receive feedback constructively
