The World´s Most Valuable Jersey

Project_Objective
After a devastating human administrative error, the Finnish Paralympic Committee and its operations were facing an existential risk: all public funding, that makes up 2/3's of their annual budget, had been lost overnight.
To turn things around, a pro-bono fundraising campaign called 'The World's Most Valuable Jersey' was launched to call for public and private donations to young para-athletes in desperate need of funding.
Challenge_
The committee faced a financial crisis when all public funding was lost overnight, putting the future of the organization and young para-athletes at risk. They needed to find a way to quickly raise significant funds while garnering support from both the public and private sectors.

SOLUTION_
The committee launched the pro-bono campaign "The World’s Most Valuable Jersey," encouraging donations by offering to print the names of sponsors on a virtual jersey worn by young para-athletes. As the jersey filled up with sponsors, it became a symbol of the athletes’ dreams and aspirations. The campaign generated widespread media coverage and drove both private and public donations, while also doubling the number of young para-athletes in the program.
